Well my time in Quito, Ecuador has unfortunately come to an end. As I board my plane to the United States tomorrow evening, I will fondly remember the beautiful brown faces that I was so fortunate to laugh with and hug! My time with the children at CENIT, my homestay, and travels to other parts of Ecuador on the weekends as well the wonderful people of the Vanderbilt Ecuador Project 2013 have made this month of May an interesting and unforgettable one to say the least!
I can’t make any promises but I aim to write one last blog entry before I leave and may continue to write as I engage in post-reflection! (OpeningMyEyes.Tumblr.Com) (at Barrio America)

One of the beautiful murals I saw near the markets in Otavalo, Ecuador. So many wonderful things to buy there! One of my favorite international markets by far! I am definitely coming back!
